Pidgeon & Pidgeon, PC Welcomes Jonathan DeFelipe

Pidgeon & Pidgeon, P.C. is pleased to welcome Jonathan DeFelipe to our firm. Jonathan, a 2026 graduate of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law just sat for the bar examination and will primarily support our estate planning, probate and estate administration, and real estate practices.

During law school, Jonathan served as a student attorney in the Villanova Law Tax Clinic, where he assisted low-income individuals on federal and Pennsylvania state tax matters, drafted filings and correspondence to the IRS, advised clients regarding liability minimization, and collaborated with faculty and senior attorneys on case strategy . He also gained judicial experience as an intern to the Honorable Daniel R. Sulman at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Family Division, where he observed proceedings, engaged with court staff, and contributed to case management initiatives, including creating a spreadsheet database from multiple supervised custody cases . After that, he served as a legal intern with Machado Law Group in New Jersey, researching education law topics, preparing materials for disciplinary hearings, and developing witness and case summaries to assist attorneys advising school boards .

Jonathan’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a minor in Philosophy from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. As an undergraduate, he held leadership roles, including serving as President of the Fordham University Philippine American Club and as an intramural volleyball captain. At Villanova Law, he was active with the Asian and Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) .
