Beware of New Home Deed Scam

A client who recently purchased a new home received a letter from a deed processing company asking for payment of $80 for a copy of her new deed. This is a scam- please do not send them any money. Your original deed will be returned to you by your attorney. Please telephone your attorney if you have any question about this type of request.
